Step by Step Procedures for smooth operations as per international commodity norms and understanding of world market behaviour.
1. Buyer submits official, formal, corporate (if applicable) Letter of Intent (LOI) detailing the desired commodity,
quantities, quantities-per-shipment, type, exact specifications (if known by buyer beforehand), delivery terms, conditions,
packaging information, destination port, DESTINATION PORT DISCHARGE RATE, **TARGET PRICE**, payment type (and any & all
other details necessary to ensure prompt and secure shipment & delivery to world ports for import into a specific country
and / destination. )
2. Accompanying LOI must be AT LEAST ONE FINANCIAL REFERENCE FROM AT LEAST ONE THE TOP 50 BANKS OF THE WORLD. We will
accept SWIFT bank message and/or a signed Official Corporate Letter from a TOP BANK. We will provide our bank details and
SWIFT CODE to any capable buyer who comes forward with a signed and sealed official LOI from the company and / or individual
who is able to fund the purchase of the desired physical commodity.
3. We will then give buyer a soft FOB quote of "THIS PRICE OR BETTER" and/or "48-HOUR TIME LIMITED CIF
/ CNF QUOTE OF $XYZ PER METRIC TON DELIVERED TO XXXXX;. etc
4. BUYER MUST THEN SIGN THE PROFORMA INVOICE / SUPPLY CONTRACT FOR IMPORT PURCHASE OF SUGAR FOR IMPORT VIA HOLDEN OR
PARTNER OFFICES.
5. BUYER WILL ISSUE THE NECESSARY FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT REQUIRED TO FOR IMPORT / EXPORT TRADE.
6. IF BUYER'S BANK IS OF HIGH-ENOUGH RATING, AND IF BUYER'S STAND WITH BANK IS ACCEPTABLE ENOUGH, THEN WE CAN OFFER
DEFERRED L/Cs FOR QUALIFIED BUYERS OF UP TO 360 DAYS (30, 60, 90, 180, 360 days) at varying interest rates as per deferral
time chosen (please note: this is for qualified buyers only).
These are our procedures. They are very simple, and very fair, and very clear. We are strict in insisting upon these very
fair, clear, and simple procedures to proceed with any business.
PLEASE NOTE: Financial information must be consistent with issuer of the LOI.
Only Buyers and/or their Authorized-with-Signature, Power-of-Attorney Mandates are authorized to issue LOI + BCL and sign
all necessary documents including Contract + opening of L/C in Seller's Favour.
We do not accept LOIs issued by agents or brokers "on behalf of buyer".
Sugar refineries, producers, and owners do not waste time with price-shopping brokers and phantom-buyers, which is why
we, and the sugar refineries, producers, and owners from whom we purchase our sugars require buyers to identify themselves
(and their good-faith intentions) in a signed Letter of Intent as well as confirming financial references confirming financial
readiness. If you are not capable of producing such documents and references, then please don't bother asking for quotes -
we cannot give you without buyer's documents and references proving they are Ready, Willing, & Able
If you are familiar with the Physical Sugar Market, then you know that sugar prices fluctuate DAILY, and that prices depend
upon many variable factors. We cannot give quote without knowing these many variable details of buyer's desired terms and
conditions, as submitted in freshly dated, signed, official Letter of Intent on buyer's letterhead, no more than 2 days old,
and containing all details for said sugar purchase as per our procedures. Not only do sugar prices fluctuate daily, but prices
quoted are ENTIRELY dependent upon the many variable factors detailed by buyer
After receipt of buyer's LOI in proper order with all the necessary details of terms and conditions desired by buyer,
and after receiving a confirming financial reference as detailed in our procedures, we will quote you a soft price. If prices
are acceptable, we will issue signed & sealed Performa Invoice / Contract on our letterhead. Performa Invoice will be
valid for a limited time of 48 - 72 hours only. Buyer will be expected to sign and return the Performa Invoice to us within
the specified period in order to lock in the price - as sugars prices will again certainly fluctuate in either direction,
and we cannot guarantee that our price will be the same after 48 - 72 hours
